Yep the last weekend of July sees us hitting The Hop Sun Tap’s second anniversary. Whilst our owners, Heathen Brewers, may be approaching their first decade we here in Triangle Road have found our feet and will just keep on growing.

Over the last 12 months, along with many in hospitality, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but we’ve seen it through, building up a fantastic crew of regulars and a reputation for everything friendly. Supporting the local community, businesses and clubs while delivering an off-centre vibe down our end of town.
This year alone has seen us welcome in our very own Toads table and become a key player rolling the game out in Mid Sussex. The launch of Hop Sun Runs, our monthly social run club that gives everyone a chance to pull on their trainers and run 10k or 5k rings around Haywards Heath, with a well earned craft beer at the end. A weekly home for pilates, monthly Paint & Sip, part of CAMRA‘s prestigious 'Ale Trail' as well as our regular quirky Sunday Quiz.
A regular meeting place for a growing number of businesses, groups and activities, we’re looking to further cement our position as one of Haywards Heath's stand out 'destinations.'
Upgrade works to our building
Our plans to upgrade the brewery side entrance have successfully gained planning approval and in June we appointed local builders Ansells of Sussex Ltd to bring the project home with works due to start on 21st August.👷♂️
We’re looking to be warm, sound and weather “proofed” well before the winter season starts.
Saying goodbye to our aging roof!
No worries though, we'll be staying open throughout the works, giving you the chance to stroll straight off the pavement into the front room bar or why not book out the giddy delights of the mezzanine floor.
And a huge YES 📢 to all those who questioned our 9pm curfew. WE WILL BE ABLE TO OPEN LATER making us not just a better place for a pint and a natter but the main contender for your best party venue ever.
