First things first, we hope you had a great Christmas and we wish you a very Happy New Year.
The start of another year is a good time to reflect on progress made and directions for the future. It's safe to say that our journey has been a bit of a roller coaster ride as we push on with our expansion plans, but more about that in a moment.
Why not 'Try January'
Nothing brings more of a shudder to us than the dreaded 'dry January'. Surely January is miserable enough already? So instead, why not embrace something a little different and 'Try January'. That's right, our take on this is more about continuing to support your local and to help you we have a bangin' range of quality craft beers, including alcohol free / low alcohol offerings, regular events and a fantastic community atmosphere to get the New Year off on the right foot. There will be all your usual Heathen beers available with plenty of guests and new additions. So, don't forget about us in January; we would love to see you!
Hop Sun Runs
For those of you interested in kick starting your fitness journey, our popular Hop Sun Runs event might be right up your street. Our free organised 5k & 10k runs prioritise social running and are perfect for those looking to get fit, meet new people and enjoy the benefits of running in a group. The Sunday Quiz - with Head Brewer Mark
Mark will be easing you into the New Year with his ever popular monthly quiz. Expect a healthy dose of general knowledge and themed based trivia to get the ol' brain cells ticking over. Join us Sunday 28 January from 3pm. Keep an eye on the socials for our usual 'theme' and gather yourself a winning team for some New Year quiz bragging rights. Spaces are limited so sign up here.
Coming Soon - Toad Tournament
We were hoping to host a January Toad Tournament following on from the success of last year, however we are going to push this back a bit to give us time to focus on the building work. Keep an eye on the socials for the details of the new date!
Our future plans...
If you have spent any time with us over the last 5 months, you will know about our building work. Well, we expect to have some very exciting news to share in February. We don't want to jinx anything but fingers crossed we will be unveiling the new 'wing' which will quite literally open up a whole load of new opportunities.
