An update on our building works plus other good stuff!
We are now well into our building work so wanted to share an update as to where things stand. The good news is we have the new floor mostly down and roof supports in place along with most of the new brickwork. Next job is to get the roof up so we can be weather tight before working on the internals. Our only hiccup is the lead time on the new doors, however we are looking at ways to make use of the new space as soon as we can. More details to follow!

One thing we have noticed throughout the work is people are really loving the front bar and mezzanine; we realised that many of you didn’t even know it was available for use. Well, we will certainly be making use of it more as we go forward. If you haven’t yet checked it out, come and have a look!
Our events are continuing at pace with Hop Sun Runs going from strength to strength, despite the winter weather, and our monthly Sunday quiz proving popular. Run club is third Thursday of the month and the Quiz is the last Sunday of the month. We are also working up our take on the 12 Days of Christmas... so keep an eye on our socials for all the details.
Oh, and we have a slight revision to our menu as the weather changes – more focus on hot food including hotdogs, toasties, chips and pretzels. Our popular Sharing Boards will make a return when the weather is a bit warmer. And for those of you who came down to the Hoptoberfest weekend and sampled the excellent Hillbillies BBQ fare, you will be excited to know that we are looking at partnerships with third party food vendors. All very exciting (and tasty) stuff!
